I have bought several of these the price is good for quality. Boxes are well waxed and hold up well to our nasty winters. Frame foundations could use a bit more wax but all makers foundations need more wax. Boxes go together perfect and look awesome once together.

Hive arrived in great shape Assembly was a snap mounted hive atop milk crate No bees yet but...not many bees in this yard to begin with Mounted near trunk of old cypress tree in back yard near pond gets moderate sun/ moderate shade checking it daily a lot of wasps working my veg garden but seldom see any bees not many flowers back there There are many bees in front yard enjoying mint plants nothing happens overnight!

Great bee boxes! Took a star off bc the shipping is nuts. Thin cardboard box, no padding. I had a bad experience before with delivery so added the insurance. Ridiculous that that's needed, and I have no idea what it did, but when it came ripped open and damaged, they sent replacement parts with a very easy process (I just emailed). So good service, good product, HORRIBLE SHIPPING.

the hive came with a broken box piece which I let Bee Castle know about. I received a new box in the mail very quickly so I was able to get my hive out for use. Great customer service to match a great product. I would recommend this hive box to others who are looking!

During inspection of our existing two beehives we found both hives were making queen cells and ready to leave as they needed more room. The Castle Bee hives arrived the day before. We put them together and put the queen cells in them immediately and now have four hives.

This is a great product at a great price. Easy to put together. Already waxed, so don't plan to paint it pretty colors. The reason for 4 stars is the shipping issue, and to alert other customers. Ordered 2 at different times, and the box for the second looked like it was dumped out of a moving vehicle. Delivered upside down with a split in the box. 2 broken pieces inside. I had purchased the delivery protection (because we've had similar issues with mail-order hive in the past). Company is supposedly sending a new one. It's a fantastic product, but man they REALLY need to work on better packaging. There is literally no protection inside the tub cardboard box.
