Frames and boxes went together very well. There were two box sides that had cracked and nearly broke off at the dovetail. However, I had wood glue and some wood clamps handy that allowed for a fast and easy fix. Overall the frames are of high quality and all sit flush and square. I went with a stand I purchased off of amazon which was adjustable and is so far holding up great as well. The bees seem to love their new home. And lots of fun watching.them. I received the boxes about a month ago and just yesterday added the second brood box.

Everything arrived fine and fairly simple to assemble. Bees are in and seem happy. Only thing I can think of is more wax on the frames would be nice and maybe have an option to add a screened bottom board at checkout.

Great buy! I purchased 2 complete hives(8&10frame).Absolutely so happy with these unassembled complete hive setups. Delivered within 2 days. Came with all the hardware needed to assemble. Was nice to have straight forward,clear instructions. and Wood pieces are very durable, frames sturdy, finished nicely with beeswax. My bees are enjoying their new home as I plan to expand my bee yard soon I would like to mention that the box from the shipping company did come slightly damaged but thankfully nothing was wrong with my hive boxes and no hardware was lost.

Nice tight fitting boxes, frames were of solid wood not soft like another brand I bought. Everything fit together well I used a finish nailer and drill to assemble it all in about an hour. I'll buy another one just wish they would offer a 1 deep with 2 mediums kit with a screened bottom board..

I ordered this hive because I needed a cheap hive to use with my bee vac. After I received it and put it together it was to nice to get beat up doing recoveries. This hive is way nicer than the Mann Lake hive. It's so nice I actually bought a second one. Easy to assemble and good quality. Very pleased

The BeeCastle Logo Free 10 Frame 3 Layer Beehive package was delivered but was missing pieces, since the shipping box had several holes. I do not believe that this was the fault of BeeCastle, but of the shipping company. To my surprise, BeeCastle did not just replace the few missing wooden pieces but sent me 10 new frames. The assembly was not difficult, and the joints look good. I’m looking forward to getting some bees in the box this spring.
