It is all waxed and the holes are all predrilled. Took 10 min to assemble the boxes and about an hour and a half to do the frames. It is helpful to have on person glue while you nail.

Very pleased that BeeCastle promptly sent me a replacement hive, as FedEx delivered the first order to an unknown wrong house and couldn’t retrieve it. (I Recommend not using FedEx, as they are not reliable!)
I appreciate the replacement, but suggest correspondence from BeeCastle, to inform me of the replacement order, as I only received tracking notification from FedEx that a replacement hive was on the way.
But…much thanks to BeeCastle for quickly getting my ordered hive to me!

After a lot research I settled on the Bee Castle as my first beehive purchase. The Quality is great and it went together super easy. The only complaint that I have is I wish I had the ability to substitute the type of frame that came with it (100% beeswax over the plastic) and upgrade to a screen bottom board. Will buy again though.

I had no issues with any of the parts. Everything went together nicely. I used a pneumatic staple gun to put the frames together instead of the nails. For me that was much faster.
I ordered two more after putting one together, because they were on sale, but I would purchase again at full price. I still believe that is a bargain.

FedEx lost my shipment and BeeCastle made it up and sent me another duplicate order. You can't get customer service like that anywhere else. I love the BeeCastle products. I have been using their wax dipped boxes for two years now and they still look new.

Awesome heavly waxed boxes - tight joints, pre-drilled and countersunk screw holes....and brass screws with 6 extra screws. What's not to like about this set? Heavily waxed foundation, and frames with wire holes for wax comb - and includes nails for the frames. I noticed the quality of the woodenware as soon as I opened the box, and ordered another 4-box set the next day; priced right to boot!
