I only have one small complaint. One of the holes for the legs was drilled too close to the bottom. This caused the nut not to be able to thread onto the bolt. I have to go purchase a longer stainless bolt and new nut.

Ran well, variable speed was good. Started out slow maybe around 30 then slowly increased. Legs are a bit shake as did try to wobble as speed increased but That had a bit to do with the honey frame capacity. Legs did flex, maybe a cross brace could help wit that. I have one bolt that won't tighten, appears to be stripped. Overall a good piece of equipment.

After I got repairing parts everything is good now

I just used my electric extractor for the first time. It was my first time not having to hand crank the racks, so it was nice letting the motor doing it. I felt like everything was made with good materials and seems good quality. It’s still small enough that you need to slowly increase the speed as the frames balance inside and sometimes I had to hold the container so it didn’t wobble too much…but I expected that to happen, so it came to no surprise and didn’t change my satisfaction. So after one season, I am very pleased.

Excellent Extractor for This New-Bee This is my second year as a beekeeper, and while I didn't expect to get too much honey from my two hives, I did expect to get a bit more than the 30 pounds that the girls made last year. However when I went looking for electric extractors before the season began, BeeCastle didn't have one available. My only options were either the big name brand bee supply stores, Amazon, or borrowing the 2-frame manual extractor from my local beekeepers club. I had used the manual extractor for the 2021 season, and had to fall back on that again for the first of the 2022 season (30 pounds and 50 pounds, respectively). But as I was casually browsing the BeeCastle website, I found that they had added this 4 frame electric extractor to their offerings. And at a realistic price, unlike the other bee supply stores. And having had purchased wooden-ware from BeeCastle in the past, I was very happy with their quality, so I rolled the dice and ordered the extractor. Within a week it was at my house and I was ready to do my late harvest for the 2022 season. I ended up extracting an additional 33 pounds of honey! I don't think that I would have extracted nearly as much had I done it by hand, but this machine made it simple. Delivery was fast and spot-on - no damage whatsoever. Setup was easy, maybe 45 minutes including assembly and washing the unit for the first time. The hardest part of assembly was handling the tiny screws and nuts. The actual extraction was a combination of both deep and medium frames, and so long as I kept everything balanced, this worked like a charm. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase, and can't wait until next season when I get to use it again.
